Woven Roots Farm
Lee, Massachusetts
Woven Roots Farm is a small family farm that grows open-pollinated and heirloom vegetables and culinary herbs using traditional farming practices.
This is their way of honoring the wisdom of the past. At the farm, an intimate relationship is maintained with the plants from start to finish.
Woven Roots Farm is committed to preserving the heritage of the varieties that are being lost each year due to large scale commercial production, hybridization and genetic modification. Most seeds are gathered annually; others are bought from Northeast seed companies and seed cooperatives.
For the past ten growing seasons, Woven Roots has continued to feed their soil as much as it has fed them. They offer the fields rich, local compost, cover crops and tender care with minimal use of machinery year after year. There has never been a single use of chemical fertilizers or sprays. All produce is grown using only environmentally sustainable practices.
Woven Roots Farm is proud to offer you top-quality fresh vegetables and herbs, with the hopes that you enjoy the flavor and beauty of their vegetables as much as they do. Thank you for supporting one of the many "Berkshire Grown" farms and local businesses.
